This is the first time I liked a cricbuzz video on RCB Credits to Ashish Nehra. He made such good points on our death bowling and our batting and made sure Harsha Bhogle couldn't go on his rant about RCB's death bowling...batting strike rate during middle overs and telling that RCB are overly dependant on Virat Kohli and ABD Villiers(by referencing them to giant trees under whose shade nothing grows).

It's kind of pissing off that he always talks shit about RCB's bowlers and batsmen who have been purchased in the auction...
I mean we got the best players available to get our maiden cup and then there's Harsha Bhogle or some random person saying that we still haven't addressed our issues. It's not the management's fault if the players don't perform and whenwe lose matches
the cricbuzz panelists love to give their views about who should be replaced and whatnot, but at the end of the season when RCB
doesn't win the tournament the panelists say that we don't give a lot of chances to the players...we did give chances to
Aaron Finch, Isuru Udana, Shivam Dube, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Dale Steyn but none of them performed well enough for the team to be at their best 11. Chris Morris is a rare case he was injured at the start missed about 4 games then performed well but not good enough for the amount he was paid...I mean he took a couple of important wickets in the first few games but later on he gave some runs didn't take a lot of wickets and he didn't perform with the bat except for one game.

I would like to conclude by saying that RCB has got the best players with the purse they had even the Indian batsmen -
Rajat Patidar, KS Bharat, Mohammed Azharuddeen, Sachin Baby, Suyash Prabhudessai, etc...are all really good players at least they might perform better than Shivam Dube and Gurkeerat Singh Mann. It's not the management's problem if the players are not filling the roles given to them or if they have a bad season...and they are not running a charity to keep giving chances to players or retain them after a Season even when they don't perform well.

sams kane christian and saini can do death over well....sams can bat as good as christian I think the major problem for rcb is this that if maxi fails can the young guns can make upto it...if maxi fails christian in or sams but still we need azhar rajat shahbas prabhudesai sachin pawan bharath to deliver,you can try allen at 3.

Everything depends on their bowling... No matter how many they score they always have bowlers who leak runs. Jamieson has a huge role to fill and if 2 out of Jamieson/Saini/Chahal/Siraj has a bad day they can't contain opposition

That's RCB summed up. They let 10cr worth Morris who was fantastic and brought inexperienced Jeminaon (who isn't death bowler) for 15 cr.
They went to auction looking for death bowler spend 40 odd cr still hasn't brought a single bankable death bowler.
Only hope is Maxwell playa like Maxwell of australia with fire then they can win the cup otherwise they are 5, 6 ranked team.
