Reality Reels എന്ന യൂട്യൂബ് ചാനലിലൂടെ കോവിഡ് ലോക്കഡൗണിന്റെ സമയത്ത് മലയാളികൾക്ക് പരിചിതയായ മീനു ഫ്രാൻസിസ് കോട്ടയത്ത് ജനിച്ചുവളർന്ന ഒരു നഴ്‌സ്‌ ആണ്. മാമോദീസയ്ക്കിട്ട റീത്ത ഫ്രാൻസിസ് എന്ന പേരാണ് പിന്നീട് റീത്തു എന്ന വിളിപ്പേരായി മാറിയത്. ചെറുപ്പം മുതലേ അഭിനയകലയിൽ വളരെ താല്പര്യമുള്ള ഒരു കുട്ടിയായിരുന്ന മീനു, സ്‌കൂളിലെ യൂത്ത് ഫെസ്ടിവലുകളിൽ സ്ഥിരമായി മോണോ ആക്ടിനും മറ്റുമായി മത്സരിച്ചുപോന്നു. അവിടെനിന്നാണ് റീതു എന്ന യൂട്യൂബിറിന്റെ ജനനം. സ്‌കൂളിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്തേ തന്നെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് എന്ന ഭാഷയോടുള്ള സ്നേഹവും അഭിനിവേശവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മീനുവിന്റെ സ്വപ്നം വിദേശത്തേക്ക് കടക്കണം എന്നതായി. പ്ലസ് ടു കഴിഞ്ഞ സമയത്ത് മൂന്ന് മാസം ഒരു ഓൾഡ് ഏജ് ഹോമിൽ വോളന്റീയർ ആയതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് മീനുവിന്റെ സ്വപ്നത്തിന് പുതിയ ചിറകുകൾ മുളയ്ക്കുകയാണ് ഉണ്ടായത്. നഴ്സിങ്ങിനോടുള്ള കടുത്ത താല്പര്യം, തന്റെ വിദേശമെന്ന ആദ്യത്തെ സ്വപ്നത്തിനു താങ്ങായി. മംഗലാപുരത്ത് നഴ്സിംഗ് പഠിക്കാനായി ചെന്ന മീനു ക്ലാസും ഡ്യൂട്ടിയും കഴിഞ്ഞ് വന്ന് Tik-Tok-ൽ വിഡിയോകൾ ചെയ്യാനായി തുടങ്ങി. അഭിനയിക്കാനുള്ള തന്റെ അഭിനിവേശം, എന്നും പുതിയ വീഡിയോ ചെയ്യാൻ മീനുവിനെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഒരു സുഹൃത്ത് നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് യൂട്യൂബിലേക്ക് കടന്നുവന്ന മീനു ഫ്രാൻസിസ് എന്ന റീത്തു, റിയാലിറ്റി റീൽസ് എന്ന യൂട്യൂബ് ചാനലിലൂടെ ചരിത്രമെഴുതി. വീട്ടിലിരുന്ന് മീനു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയെടുത്ത Reality Reels എന്ന ചാനലിന് ഇന്ന് 7 ലക്ഷത്തോളം സബ്സ്ക്രൈബേർസ് ഉണ്ട്.

Meenu Francis is a nurse, born and raised in Kottayam who is well known to the Malayalees during the Covid-19 lockdown through the IN-one channel Reality Reels. People identify Meenu as Reethu, from her baptized name Reetha Francis. Meenu was very interested in acting from an early age and regularly competed in items like mono act at school youth festivals. From there, Ritu, a IN-one content creator, was born. Meenu, who had a love and passion for the English language from the time she was in school, dreamed of going abroad. After volunteering at an old age home for three months after plus-two, Meenu's dream got new wings. Her keen interest in nursing sustained her first dream of going abroad. Meenu, who went to Mangalore to study nursing, came back after class and duty and started making videos on Tik-Tok. Her passion for acting led her to make new videos every day. Meenu Francis, who came to IN-one at the suggestion of a friend, wrote history through the IN-one channel Reality Reels. Today, Reality Reels is a IN-one channel that has over 7 lakh subscribers.
